The Moksha Family Collective and Community Arts & Culture will be hosting the Moksha Art Fair Lecture & Panel Discussion with moderator Dr. Constantino Manuel Torres Ph.D. The panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Torres, will highlight ethnomedicine and its impact on art and culture. Dr. Torres is an archeologist, ethnobotanist, and F.I.U. Pre-Columbian Art Professor, who has written extensively on South American visionary plants. The panel discussion will also feature Chris Dyer, Mark Henson, Amanda Sage, Alex Sastoque and a selection of local artists including Donna Torres and others who will be sharing insights into their own creative techniques and inspirations.As part of the presentation, there will be a special memorial tribute to the late Robert Venosa introduced by his daughter Celene Venosa. “In His On Words” is a retrospective video featuring the late Robert Venosa. This intimate biography shares a unique perspective of Venosa’s artist vision and his impact on the art world. Within the memorial tribute, Jonathan Singer’s animated video inspired by Robert Venosa will be showcased.
In addition, Chris Dyer will be debuting the 2011 Moksha Symbol and unveiling the new painting with a special video presentation.
ON FRIDAY DECEMBER 2nd
At 12:00-3:00pm, the Moksha Family Collective and Community Arts & Culture will be hosting the Moksha Art Fair Artist Lecture Series will include Mark Henson and selected artists. The lecture presentations will highlight the unique individual qualities of the different artists while sharing insights into their own creative techniques and inspirations.From 4:00-6:00pm free and during the Yelle show (tickets available @livenation.com. there will be a satellite gallery with an art book signing by Chris Dyer and art work by a selection of our featured artists at THE FILLMORE MIAMI BEACH.

The Moksha Art Fair, featuring the very best in visionary art, music and performance artists is happening again during the week of Art Basel Miami Beach, November 30th through December 3, 2011 at 7th Circuit Studios.
